Compatibility

A pack declares the oldest Core it can run on. The Hub compares that number to the Core actually installed and refuses the combination if it is too old, rather than failing later at runtime.

FOS Essentials uses major . significant . minor, judged by what the change costs you, not by how large the diff was.

Position What it means for your world
Major Rework: something you built has to be redone
Significant The tool gained an ability it did not have
Minor A fix, or an addition you may not even notice

Read the pack changelog before updating. A prefab you modified never carries your changes over on its own.
